Agents

Pathline has two agents that run in the background. Turn them on from Agents in the app or the iOS app.

Human Spam Filter

Runs on every new form submission and inbound SMS.

  • AI screens for junk — SEO pitches, link scams, bot spam, irrelevant ads.
  • Real leads stay in Messages.
  • Spam skips the inbox and goes to Trash.
  • Optional: email you when something is flagged as spam.

Agent Reply & Handoff

Runs after a real form submission (not spam).

  • Sends an instant SMS reply personalized to what the customer wrote.
  • Comes from your business phone line.
  • Only sends to people who opted in for SMS replies.
  • Alerts your team with a push notification on iOS.
  • Optional custom rules for tone, pricing, or scheduling.
  • Optional: email you when the agent sends a reply.
Requirements Human Spam Filter must be on first. You also need a phone line with outbound SMS enabled.

How they work together

  1. Someone submits your form (or sends an SMS).
  2. Human Spam Filter decides: real lead or spam.
  3. If it’s a real lead, it appears in Messages.
  4. If Agent Reply & Handoff is on and the person opted in, they get an instant SMS and your team gets notified.
